The Holiday Season will be kicking off in Osawatomie this Saturday, November 18th with Rotary’s Pancake Feed, A Fundraising Auction for Miami County’s Salvation Army, Pictures with Santa, Horse Drawn Sleigh Rides, The Band of Oz, The Paola School of Dance Performing, and of course, SHOPPING!! Be sure to bring your checkbooks
on Saturday and get your shopping done early!
The Osawatomie Middle School will be the host to several fantastically trendy and classic vendors this year! Now is the time to get your shopping done for that special someone! For those of you with kiddies, never fear! Your kiddies will have time to make
free gifts for that special someone in their lives as you are busy getting your shopping done! They’ll even get a chance to be grown-ups as a portion of the kids' craft fair will include a painting party that will begin at 11:00 a.m. just for them! (the painting party for the kids is subject to a small fee and the proceeds will go back to Osawatomie PIE)
You’ll also want to be sure to stop by our local businesses as several of them will be having holiday specials of their own and in store drawings! 10% off, 20% off, chances to win chamber bucks, turkeys/hams and more! 10:00 to 11:00 am. - Free Band of Oz Performance
10:00 to 12:00 p.m. - Free Sleigh Rides
10:00 to 12:00 p.m. - Pictures with Santa
11:00 to 1:00 p.m. - Free Arts & Crafts for the Kids (Middle School)
11:00 to 1:00 p.m. - Kids' Painting Party (Middle School)
1:00 p.m. - Free Paola School of Dance Performance

For those interested in the shopping portion of the Holiday Festival, several fantastically unique vendors will be set up in the Middle School Gymnasium. Get your Christmas shopping done early there! While you are busy perusing and trying to decide which items to buy for who, the kiddies can enjoy some arts and crafts time. The kid's arts & crafts is FREE and will be going on from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. There will also be a painting party for the kiddies beginning at 11:00 a.m. for a small fee (of which the proceeds will go to Osawatomie's Partners in Education). They will accept kids for that up until 12:00 p.m. and it will be done by 1:00 p.m.
